Lucien Lebreux has protected his Middle Acres Farm in Tiverton by selling conservation easements to The Nature Conservancy. The property has been farmed since Lucien Lebreux acquired it in 1956. Over the years, Lucien has sold tomatoes, cranberries, corn and Christmas trees.
Middle Acres Farm is mentioned by Rhode Island Historical Preservation and Heritage Commission in its 2001 Report,
"Historic Landscapes of Rhode Island”.

The original farm house
On April 3rd, 2008 the original farm house at Middle Acres Farm was taken down. Lucien moved into his newly constructed home which sits about 500 feet away on the south side of the original location.
