Company history Founders, Shihan Christopher Montella and Sensei Wendy Montella opened Montella's Academy of Self Defense in 1999. The school is based on traditional values and committed to developing and teaching children and adults in the art of Kenpo/Jujitsu. Montella' Academy of Self Defense offers students, both children and adults, the opportunity of self growth.
